Lasagna has always been one of my favorite dishes to make. It's a classic Italian dish that's perfect for feeding a crowd, and it's always a hit at dinner parties. In this blog post, I'll be sharing my favorite recipe for classic lasagna.

Ingredients:

- 1 pound of ground beef

- 1 large onion, chopped

- 2 cloves of garlic, minced

- 1 can of crushed tomatoes (28 oz.)

- 1 can of tomato sauce (15 oz.)

- 2 tablespoons of tomato paste

- 2 teaspoons of dried basil

- 1 teaspoon of dried oregano

- Salt and pepper, to taste

- 1 package of lasagna noodles (16 oz.)

- 1 container of ricotta cheese (15 oz.)

- 2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese

- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.

2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain off any excess fat.

3. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.

4. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain the noodles and rinse them with cold water.

5. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and the Parmesan cheese.

6. In a 9x13-inch baking dish, spread a layer of the meat sauce on the bottom. Add a layer of lasagna noodles, then a layer of the cheese mixture. Repeat the layers until you've used all of the ingredients.

7. Top the lasagna with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.

8. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly
